Two-day workshop of nodal officers regarding public services by Magsipa

Hoshiarpur, October 28: The regional center of Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration (Magsipa) Jalandhar conducted a two-day training workshop for the nodal officers of various departments related to public services in Hoshiarpur.

Hoshiarpur, October 28: The regional center of Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration (Magsipa) Jalandhar conducted a two-day training workshop for the nodal officers of various departments related to public services in Hoshiarpur. During this special workshop, officers were given detailed training on 'Sevottam' (improvement in public service delivery).
  In this training program conducted under the leadership of Project Director Pirthi Singh (Retired PCS Officer) of MAGSIPA Regional Center Jalandhar, District Officers of all departments of Hoshiarpur were attended by Advocate Shisav Kumar Sonik, District I. T Manager Hoshiarpur Ranjit Singh, Associate Fellow Magsipa Chandigarh Umang Sharma and Assistant Professor G. N. D. U Regional Center Gurdaspur Dr. Jeevan Jot Singh gave training on various subjects.

In these subjects R. T. I Act 2005, The Punjab Transparency and Accountability in Delivery of Public Service Act 2018, Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) portal, citizen centric services and their delivery channels, provision of quality services and redressal of public grievances For affirmative action, citizen charter and grievance redressal mechanism, good behavior towards service takers etc. were included.

Project Director Pirthi Singh said that the purpose of 'Sevottam' is to provide excellent services to the citizens. Certificates were also awarded to all the officers who participated in the workshop.
