Appointment letters for government jobs were handed over to more than 51 thousand candidates across the country

Patiala, October 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the first phase of "Rozgar Mela" recruitment drive for 10 lakh youth today through video conferencing at 50 centers across the country.

Patiala, October 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the first phase of "Rozgar Mela" recruitment drive for 10 lakh youth today through video conferencing at 50 centers across the country. Appointment letters were handed over to 51,000 new recruits during the function. On this occasion, the Prime Minister also addressed these newly appointed persons through virtual mode.
This is an important step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister's continued commitment to provide employment opportunities to the youth and ensure the welfare of citizens. As per instructions of the Prime Minister, all Ministries and Departments are working to fill existing vacancies against sanctioned posts in mission mode.
  This mega event was organized at Patiala Locomotive Works (PLW) Patiala. During this "Job Fair", Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Som Prakash distributed appointment letters to 20 new recruits from Punjab and adjoining areas. Out of these, 16 new appointees were given PLW. Patiala, 04 other Central Government Departments appointed on various posts.
This recruitment is done by Central Ministries and Departments themselves and through recruitment agencies like UPSC, SSC and Railway Recruitment Board. For faster recruitment, selection processes are simplified and technically efficient.
The newly appointed young boys and girls gathered for the appointment letter distribution program were very enthusiastic about this mission appointment program of the Prime Minister and thanked the Prime Minister for getting the appointment.
