He told in detail about the life of Sir Harney Diuna ji, the first founder of Red Cross organisation and also told about the biography of Bhai Ghanai ji that how he gave a unique example of service to humanity by giving water to enemy soldiers. Today, the youth of Punjab is also badly trapped in the quagmire of drugs, whereas the history of Punjab is not like this. He also spoke in detail about the life and ideology of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and told that the credit for India's independence goes to Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh. He said that to save our children from the slavery of drugs, we have to take full care of them. We have to become the protectors of our own home.
He also said that the youth are falling prey to drug addiction. He shared some things to identify the youth who have become addicted to drugs. He said that we should also reach out to schools and colleges so that students do not fall into the trap of drug addiction. Youth should be connected to good literature and sports so that the youth do not get trapped in this quagmire. The land of Punjab has always given birth to brave warriors, but some people are putting the youth on the path of drugs for their own benefit and putting the future of Punjab in danger. Due to drugs, the youth are suffering from many diseases like black jaundice, AIDS, mental illness, impotence etc.
He said that drug addiction is a mental illness, we should take care of our food and keep the body healthy with a balanced diet, which will also keep the mind healthy. Under the Drug Free India campaign, awareness should start from your home. Students should read books related to patriots, intellectuals and other literary people from their school libraries so that students read their lives and do not do anything wrong in life by fearing the problems coming in their life. He said that there is a need to take effective steps to provide mental and physical treatment to the youth trapped in drug addiction and to save others from this disease, otherwise the future of our coming generation will not only be dark, but will be full of darkness.
