If we are not serious about water today, there is no doubt that our green land will turn into a desert one day. Mr. Arora said that every member of the council will hold meetings in their respective areas to make people aware of saving water.
On this occasion, Secretary Rajinder Maudgill and Davinder Arora appealed to the people to start saving water from their homes and asked them to drive the motor for as long as it takes to fill the tank. It has been seen many times that people forget to turn off the motor and millions of liters of water are wasted and we should not leave the tap open while shaving and brushing. He appealed to the Municipal Corporation and the Government to ensure that all newly constructed buildings, whether they are commercial or domestic, should ensure the installation of water harvesting system and also provide government subsidy for it so that people do not hesitate to install it. Removal and water can be completely saved.
