Nawanshahr - Teacher's Day was celebrated by cutting a cake at KSM Public School, Garhshankar Road, Nawanshahr. Principal Mrs. Santosh Boparai congratulated all the teachers on Teachers' Day and said that children are progressing in life only due to the hard work of teachers.
He said that a teacher is like a candle that provides light to others by burning itself and only a good teacher can give good education and guidance to the students due to which the foundation of a healthy society can be laid. He said that we can achieve good position in life only by respecting teachers and parents.
He said that the purpose of education is to make a person an ideal citizen and a good human being. Principal Santosh Boparai, Amarjit Singh Khalsa, Aarti, Arjinder Kaur, Ravinder Kaur, Jaspreet Kaur, Geetanjali, Shabana Praveen, Harpreet Kaur, Mandeep Kaur, Rekha, Amandeep Kaur, Praveen Kaur, Sunita, Monika Rana and Manjit Kaur were present on this occasion.
