Una, August 28 - Youth preparing for competitive exams should focus on proper time management. Make a proper time table for studies and follow it wholeheartedly. Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal gave this message to the youth in a guidance and counseling session organized under the Samarthya program at Degree College Una on Wednesday.
The Deputy Commissioner said that along with studies, proper diet and rest are also very important in preparing for the exam. He asked the youth to focus on their fitness. He advised the youth to prepare with a goal in mind and said that success and failure are part of life. Instead of getting scared of failure, one should take it as a lesson and work on one's shortcomings. Hard work in the right direction is the key to success.
During the session, the Deputy Commissioner shared his life experiences with the youth and discussed strategies for preparing for competitive exams. He also gave information about the Samarthya program of the district administration. He said that the administration is taking concrete steps for the welfare and upliftment of youth and women through the Samarthya program. Under this, the youth are being helped to increase competitive interest and prepare for competitive exams. At the same time, there is also a provision to bear the expenses of higher education of girls from poor families, in which assistance of up to 2 lakh is being given. In its first phase, the administration has taken the responsibility of higher education of 25 eligible girls of the district, and in the second phase there is a plan to increase its scope.
On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner also resolved various queries of the youth related to career and preparation.
