Una, August 28 - Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal on Wednesday inaugurated the new non-residential training centers established at Pandoga-1 and Pandoga-3 under Haroli sub-division. Earlier, he inspected the non-residential training center operating at Ghaluwal and took stock of the arrangements there.

On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner reached among the children and mingled with them with affection. He laughed and joked with the children, chatted and in the course of his talks, taught them many lessons of life and inspired them to move ahead. He said that the laughter of children should always resonate and the district administration is working diligently for their better future.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal praised the 10 non-residential training centers run by the Education Reform Committee Isapur in Haroli subdivision, in which about 300 migrant children are receiving education. He praised the efforts being made by the committee for the education of migrant children and also provided them financial assistance of Rs 21 thousand.
It is also noteworthy that the administration, in collaboration with voluntary organizations, has established non-residential training centers in various areas for the purpose of educating the children of migrants living in slums in Una district.
Suchha Singh Kang, general secretary of Shiksha Sudhar Samiti, said that the Samiti has been working in the field of education since 2006. He also informed that the Samiti has provided 42 teachers for the vacant posts of teachers in various primary and high schools of the district, so that children can get better education.
On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner also planted a sapling in the premises of the Pandoga-1 training centre under the campaign ‘Ek Paudha Maa Ke Naam’.
District Congress Committee President Ranjeet Singh Rana, Education Reform Committee General Secretary Suchha Singh Kang, BDO Haroli Virendra Kaushal, Naib Tehsildar Isapur Shubh Kaushal and Pandoga Panchayat Pradhan Gulwinder Singh Goldy along with other dignitaries were present in the program.
