An awareness event was organized in Guru Nanak Mission Para-Medical College on the issue of "Water Conservation".

Nawanshahr - An awareness program was held today at Guru Nanak Paramedical College in Dhahan Claren on the issue of 'Water Conservation'. In the poster making competition held during the event, Lovelyn Kaur, Bhavika Yadav and Tarunpreet Kaur won the first three positions respectively. Palik Thakur's team won the skit competition while Tarunpreet won the poetry competition. Maninder Mehmi, Manpreet and Navjot won first, second and third prize respectively in PPT presentation.

 The winning students were felicitated with letters of appreciation, floral wreaths and mementos. These honor ceremonies were performed by Shri Kulwinder Singh Dhahan, President of Guru Nanak Mission Medical and Educational Trust Dhahan Kleran. He said that conservation of water is essential to protect life and understanding its importance, we should collectively guard against its misuse. College Principal Rajdeep Thidwar congratulated the winning students and described their passion for water conservation as a symbol of social service.
 The organizer of the event, Pani Sahvana Sevak Surjit Majari, thanked the college management and students. Engineer Jasveer Moron and social worker Davinder Begampuri were among the judges in the said competition. Palak Thakur and Rajveer Kaur jointly managed the stage. On this occasion, Piyushi Yadav, Sumedha Yadav, Raman Kumar, the employees of the college also showed warm support.
