Hoshiarpur - Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is organizing public grievance redressal camps at different places of the district with the aim of solving the problems of the people on the spot. In which the officials of all the departments will sit under one roof and solve the problems of the people.
He was addressing the residents of the area today during the grievance redressal camp held in the community hall of village Jayan of Chabewal constituency. He said that the main objective of these camps is to provide benefits of public welfare schemes issued by the Punjab government to the people near their homes and under one roof and to ensure that the problems of the citizens are solved quickly. He instructed all the departments to solve the applications received in the camp on priority basis. Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner heard many problems on the spot and solved them.
Meanwhile, Harminder Singh Sandhu and Dr. Jatinder, in-charge of the constituency and chairman of the Punjab Scheduled Caste and Land Development and Finance Corporation, also assured the residents that the problems of the people will be solved on priority basis. For which the government departments themselves are reaching out to the people. He said that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Maan's dream is that people do not have to visit government offices for their work. For which such grievance redressal camps are being organized in the entire state.
SDM Hoshiarpur Preet Inder Singh Bains said that people's work related to government services will be settled in these camps. He said that in the camp held today, the people will be given information about Magnarega, Water Supply and Sewerage, Food and Supply Department, Agriculture Department, Block and Panchayat Department, Scheduled and Backward Classes Certificates, Old Age Pension, Disability and Dependent Pensioners, Beneficiaries related to construction workers, The problems related to revenue department record verification, fard creation, shagan scheme, land demarcation, health department were heard. And most problems will be solved on the spot. He said that the pending problems will be resolved by the concerned department in time.
