Nawanshahr 6th May - District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar at village Shahpur Patti near Nawanshahr, like every year, the annual Joad Mela will be held on 16th and 17th May with great pomp. While giving this information, Baba Baldev Saini, chairman of Sufiana Dargah Action Committee, has said that  Mehndi ceremony will be performed on May 15 at 7 pm., and flag ceremony on Thursday, May 16 at 10 a.m.,
beda ceremony, Ceremony of spreading the chadar, Chirag Roshni will be lit at 5 o'clock in the evening and after that the famous Kawals of Punjab will present their Kawali program And after this a program of nakals will also be presented. On May 17, famous artists of Punjab will present their program In which Balwinder Mattewaria, singer Mahesh Sajan, Sarita Gill and later in the afternoon a program of Nakals will also be presented. In the night, a religious drama will be presented by Sukha Bagowalia. Saint Fakirs from different deras will participate in this fair.
A free eye checkup camp is also being organized on this occasion In which eyes will be checked by Mandeepak Eye Care and free medicines and spectacles will also be given to the needy on the spot.
