He said that it is the primary duty of all of us to give healthy and delicious food to children. The government has arranged to give fresh fruits and kheer once a week to keep the children healthy. Therefore, school principals should prepare daily food according to the government's instructions and menu. He also instructed the school heads that the food and drink ration of the children should be stored in clean and high quality drums. Instead of washed pulses, use shelled pulses. The pulses must be exposed to sunlight once a week to avoid insects. He said that during the checking, special attention was paid to the cleanliness of the children's toilets because small children get more diseases due to the lack of cleanliness of the toilets.
Apart from this, polling booths constructed in schools were also inspected in view of the Lok Sabha elections. Where the provision of ramp or light was not proper, it was immediately rectified on the spot and the school principals were instructed to clean the polling booths and provide adequate lighting. Apart from this, he said that under the Mission Saampat, the children were given a redemptive test. He also instructed the teachers to teach the children with full honesty and diligence.
