Patiala, April 25 - District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Patiala Shaukat Ahmed Pare said that as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India Form 12, 12A and 12D Patiala District Administration website https://patiala.nic.in/loksabhaelections2024/ have been uploaded.
He said that Form 12 is filled by the voter to issue the postal ballot paper while 12A is for the Election Duty Certificate through which the staff posted on election duty can cast their vote wherever they are posted on duty at the polling station. Apart from this, 12D is for senior citizens and disabled voters, by filling which they can request postal ballot paper. He said that senior citizens above 85 years of age and more than 40 percent disabled and service voters can download the form from the district website and after filling the form can contact the ARO of their area and submit this form.
The district election officer said that voters can search their voter ID card with their Epic number or registered mobile number on the district website.
