Rangoli and Chart Making Competition conducted at Industrial Center (Women) Nawanshahr under sweep activities

Nawanshahr - According to the instructions of the Chief Electoral Officer Punjab and the orders of the Deputy Commissioner cum District Election Officer Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa and the instructions of Rajiv Verma Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-Nodal Officer Sweep keeping Lok Sabha Elections 2024 as the focus of district Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.

Nawanshahr - According to the instructions of the Chief Electoral Officer Punjab and the orders of the Deputy Commissioner cum District Election Officer Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa and the instructions of Rajiv Verma Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-Nodal Officer Sweep keeping Lok Sabha Elections 2024 as the focus of district Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. A voter awareness seminar was organized under the sweep activities under the leadership of Madam Neelam Rani, Principal of Government Industrial Center Nawanshahr (Women).
  On this occasion, a rangoli was made by the female students for awareness about votes and slogan writing and poster making competitions were conducted by the female students. On this occasion, the nodal officer of the sweep, Satnam Singh, asked the students to work on the mission "This time district Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Pajhattar Par". He said that every voter must cast his vote and encourage his family, neighborhood, friends, relatives etc. to vote. He said that every voter can also verify his casted vote on the PET machine. He said that the female students who have reached the age of eighteen years on 1st April 2024 should apply their vote online or by going to the booth level officer. So that they can participate in the grand festival of the world's biggest democracy. On this occasion, Hardeep Kourne highlighted the facilities available at booth level such as wheel chair for disabled voters, ramp, Braille script, pick and drop facility, crèche for children etc.
Madam Neelam Rani, Principal of Uyogic Kendra Nawanshahr (Women) thanked Satnam Singh and her colleagues and told the girl students that this time, let us all contribute to the Lok Sabha elections, the "Pride of the country". On this occasion, Nodal Officers of Electoral Literacy Club Madam Priya, Ranjit Kaur, Amandeep Kaur, Sarabjit Kaur, Anjana, Diljovan Singh etc. were present.
