Memorial refreshment service for blood donors at BDC

Nawanshahr - At every blood center, according to medical regulations, every person who donates blood has to be given prescribed refreshment. Under these rules, refreshment service continues day and night for blood donors at the local BDC blood center. While participating in this service, the Jhikka Family has acquired the refreshment service for one month by contributing fifteen thousand rupees, dedicating to the memory of its elder self: Ajit Singh Jhikka.

BDC Secretary Jaspal Singh Gidda, BTO Dr Ajay Bagga and PRO Malakiat Singh welcomed Balveer Singh Jhikka, Avtar Singh Gobindpuri, Hargopal Singh former MLA and NRI Akashdeep Singh Gaddu to the Bhavan as a courtesy to the family. Sharing the technical information, Dr. Ajay Baga said that a healthy person between the age of 18 to 65 years, with a minimum body weight of 45 kg, hemoglobin not less than 12.5 grams per cent should voluntarily donate blood every three months. Can do After donating blood, refreshments are provided as prescribed by the health department. Refreshments are also given to those on an empty stomach before donating blood. BDC management honored the guest personalities.
