Mahilpur (April 16) – A special function was organized in village Sherpur to commemorate the 133rd birth anniversary of Constitution maker Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. The cake was cut first on this occasion. At present Sant Baba Ramesh Das Ji is the Chief Administrator of Dera Sherpur Kallar, Sant Niranjan Das Ji, Sati Sarpanch, Babu Tarsem Lal, Dilbagh Singh, Lambardar Sucha Singh, Tony, Galu, Nirmal, Atma Ram, Deepa, Sunny Canada, Kamaljeet, Tota Singh. Former Sarpanch, Ajay Shawki, Joginder Singh and other villagers were present in large numbers.
   Addressing the Bharve Sabha on this occasion, Sant Baba Ramesh Das Ji threw light on the life and principles of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Ji and said that Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Ji followed the concept of Begumpure of Satguru Ravidas Maharaj Ji. He has been blessed by shedding light that through the Indian Constitution every section of the society got the right to equality and fraternity, due to which he will be remembered till the end of the world. He said that we should become more knowledgeable and wise by following the path shown by Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and should love our country and the entire humanity while living with love for each other. On this occasion, books related to the life of Baba Saheb Ambedkar were also distributed to the children.
