Jalandhar - Patriotic Memorial Committee today paid homage to the blood-stained soil of Jallianwala Bagh and its immortal martyrs at the memorial building. Charanji Lal Kangniwal, Assistant Secretary, Patriotic Memorial Committee, Cultural Branch Convenor, Amolak Singh, Senior Trustee, Surinder Kumari Kochhar and Gurumeet Singh, on behalf of the Committee, offered flowers in honor of the martyrs of Jallianwala Bagh and said that Jallianwala Bagh is dedicated to Hindus, Sikhs and The common blood of Muslims speaks today and will continue to speak tomorrow also.

He said that the plans of those who sacrificed their lives, bodies, minds and wealth in the fight for freedom to spread poison, make each other enemies and incite narrow political interests will probably not be fulfilled.
Speakers said that various rulers handed over agriculture, industry, education, health, electricity, water, natural treasures, employment, forests, water, land, language, history, heritage, literature etc. to foreign corporate houses. Raising voice against casteism and defeating all forms of communal violence is the true worship of the martyrs of Jallianwala Bagh.
It was promised in the program that by uplifting the glorious heritage of Jallianwala Bagh and the Gadar movement, it will continue to contribute in strengthening the consciousness and thinking of building a mass movement against imperialism and its servants and communal forces in the country.
Taking inspiration from Baisakhi Day, the program also emphasized on abolishing black laws, stopping attacks on people from all sides, removing all types of caste and communal prejudices and building a secular, communal movement.
On the occasion of the foundation day of Gadar Party on 21st April, an appeal was also made to join the caravan by tying a caravan, to address which Dr. Davinder Sharma is arriving.
