SAS Nagar, April 11 - Ravinder Singh Pappi Sidhu was elected District President and Manpreet Singh Gosla as District General Secretary in the election meeting called for the organizational elections of Government Teachers Union Punjab District Mohali.

Giving information in this regard, the Planning Officer Vishal Kumar (Head Teacher Sahas Manakpur Sharif) and the Assistant Planning Officer Guljit Singh (Center In-charge Garaga) said that after checking the nominations of the Block President, Sohan Singh has been given Kharar-1, Sandeep Singh Kharar-1. 2, Satwinder Kaur has been elected as Kharar-3, Balwinder Singh as Derabassi-1, Jagdeep Singh as Derabassi-2, Rakesh Kumar as Majri, Harpreet Singh as Kurali, Sukhjinder Singh as President of Banur Block.

During the meeting, the leaders of Government Teachers' Union, Surjit Singh and Shamsher Singh, while highlighting the old and glorious history of the organization, urged the entire teaching class to join this militant organization. The newly elected team assured that in the future, the struggle for the demands of teachers, students and schools will be continued with more strength.
