Patiala, March 26 - While taking action against illegal mining in Jakhepal village near Shambhu in the district, the police seized two JCBs, a tractor and three tippers during a raid, but their drivers managed to escape. Based on the complaint of Mining Inspector Rajveer Singh, an FIR has been registered at Shambhu police station. According to Rajveer, he got information that illegal mining of soil was going on in the village, after which the police team raided. Shambhu Police has registered a case against JCB driver Ramandeep Singh village Rajgarh driver Sukhwinder Singh village Rajgarh driver Gurdeep Singh and four unidentified persons. The SHO of Shambhu Police Station said that the owner of the land has not yet been identified in this case and the police is taking action to identify him.
