An urgent meeting of all the staff and school management committee was called under the able leadership of Block Nodal Officer (BNO) Mr. Hardyal Singh, Principal Mr. Sanjeev Kumar and School Management Committee Chairman Mrs. Harjit Kaur. In which all the staff members and school management committee members were requested to contribute maximum for the smooth running of the school admission campaign. It may be mentioned here that Government Senior Secondary School Boys Hajipur is the only rural school in Hoshiarpur district, where medical, non-medical, commerce, vocational and health and care streams are running well. Representing approximately 45 villages of the area, the school is making quadruple progress day and night under the able leadership of Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Principal. The exams of the session 2023-24 are going on, in which 376 students from all streams of Class XII are participating. The credit goes to the in-charges of various streams. It is one such school in the entire Hoshiarpur district which has sections A to F of XI and XII. The preparations for the new session are going on in full swing and this time smart classrooms are being prepared for the students to sit. All the panchayats and social organizations of the area are demanding from the Punjab government that this school in Kandi area should be designated as 'School of 'Eminence' status should be given.
