The District Magistrate issued orders for various restrictions in the district
Hoshiarpur - District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal, using powers conferred under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, has issued various restrictive orders in the district. In these orders, no person will carry weapons in public functions, places of worship, marriage parties/weddings, marriage palaces or other functions in District Hoshiarpur and there will be a complete ban on display of weapons through public/social media. There will also be a complete ban on playing songs glorifying violence.
Hoshiarpur - District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal, using powers conferred under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, has issued various restrictive orders in the district. In these orders, no person will carry weapons in public functions, places of worship, marriage parties/weddings, marriage palaces or other functions in District Hoshiarpur and there will be a complete ban on display of weapons through public/social media. There will also be a complete ban on playing songs glorifying violence.
In case of not doing so, legal action will be taken against the person concerned/violating. Apart from this, the owners of marriage palaces should ensure that no person will use weapons during the ceremony in the marriage palaces. Apart from this, as per the order issued by the District Magistrate, no person in the rural and urban areas of Hoshiarpur or the Panchayat or the Municipal Council or the Nagar Panchayat will fill the ponds without the prior written approval of the concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate. The District Magistrate banned any kind of procession, gathering of five or more persons, raising slogans, carrying sticks, unlicensed weapons, sharp edged weapons etc. within the limits of the district without the permission of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate. Is. This order will not apply to government functions, conferences and meetings etc. Written approval from the concerned SDM is also required for organizing a rally/jalsa by any political party. This order will not apply to Punjab Police, Home Guards, other employees on official duty and marriages, funerals or official functions/meetings. The District Magistrate has also issued another order banning illegal boring on the streets/roads of all the villages of the district. District Magistrate Komal Mittal has also banned unauthorized storage, transportation, use or sale of cement in Hoshiarpur district. This restriction is applicable to all veterinary institutions including veterinary hospitals/dispensaries and polyclinics of Animal Husbandry Department, Punjab, artificial insemination centers run by Animal Husbandry Department Punjab, MILKFED and College of Veterinary Sciences, Gadwasu Ludhiana, any other artificial insemination center which is animal husbandry. It happens. The processing and use of bovine semen supplied or imported by the Department, Punjab, will not apply to members of the Progressive Dairy Farms Association, Punjab, who have imported bovine semen only for the use of their cattle. District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur Komal Mittal, in exercise of powers conferred under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act No. 2 of 1974), has issued orders that no person/social or religious organization from Don't get involved. Hateful speech or abusive language against any community should not be used in places of worship, wedding parties or other functions. On doing so, legal action will be taken against the concerned person/violator. All the above orders will remain in force till May 8, 2024.
