Nawanshahr - Member of Lok Sabha from Sri Anandpur Sahib and former Union Minister Manish Tiwari heard the problems of the residents in different villages of Vidhan Sabha Constituency Banga and assured them of suitable solutions. Manish Tiwari gave checks to grant Rs 8 lakh to three villages. Tiwari said that the previous Congress government had done more than 100 crore development works for Baga constituency.
During the Congress government itself, Rs 4.57 crore had been released for the 10-9 km road from Behram to Mukandpur. He said that Congress never makes vague claims but has always done politics of development on the basis of priority. On this occasion, District Planning Board AABCA Chairman Satvir Singh Palli Jhikki, Block President Ram Das, Kamaljit Banga Zilla Parishad Member, Harbhajan Singh Bhoruli, Raghveer Billa, Block President Kulwaran Singh, Sokhi Ram Bajon, Panch Palwinder Singh Dhillon, Gurpreet Singh Panch and Pooja Rani Panch etc were also present.
