
Punjab Prison Olympic Games start in Central Jail Seven prisons are participating in various games
Patiala, March 4 - The Patiala Zone Games of the Punjab Prison Olympics 2024 were launched at the Central Jail, Patiala. Meanwhile, Superintendent Central Jail Patiala Manjit Singh Sidhu inaugurated the games. Meanwhile, Additional Superintendent Harcharan Singh Gill, Deputy Superintendent Jaideep Singh and Deputy Superintendent Baljinder Singh Chatha were also present in the event.

In these zonal games, a total of seven jails namely Central Jail Patiala, Central Jail Sri Goindwal Sahib, District Jail Rupnagar, Open Agricultural Jail Nabha, District Jail Sangrur, New District Jail Nabha and Sub Jail Malerkotla will compete in rope-pulling, volleyball, badminton, long jump, 400 Meter Race, 100 Meter Race, Kabaddi, Chess, Badminton, 60 Meter Race and Shot Put Games are being participated. These games will end on March 10.
