Nawanshahr - NRI Bittu Bhatoa son of Nanak Singh resident of Begumpur while contributing to the ongoing development works of Government Primary School Begumpur Tehsil Phagwara presented a cash amount of 51 thousand rupees to block committee member Pawan Sonu, former sarpanch Balwant Singh and Tejpal Mahi.
While appreciating Bittu Bhatoa's initiative, Committee Chairman and RITA Principal Jaswinder Singh Bangar said that the renovation work of the school is in its final stages with the support of Indian expatriates and donors. He also appealed to the whole community for maximum cooperation in this noble initiative. Meanwhile, they appealed to all the parents to enroll their children in government schools in the next educational session so that they can get the benefit of the best facilities provided by the school and the government.
