
Third accused of attack on kabaddi player Bindru also arrested by Patiala police
Patiala, January 19 - The case of firing on Kabaddi player Harvinder Singh Bindru in Moga has been completely solved by the CIA staff of Patiala today with another arrest. Speaking to the media here today, Patiala SSP Varun Sharma said that the third accused in this case, Yasman Singh alias Yasu, was arrested today near Shambhu border when he was trying to escape to Haryana.
Patiala, January 19 - The case of firing on Kabaddi player Harvinder Singh Bindru in Moga has been completely solved by the CIA staff of Patiala today with another arrest.
Speaking to the media here today, Patiala SSP Varun Sharma said that the third accused in this case, Yasman Singh alias Yasu, was arrested today near Shambhu border when he was trying to escape to Haryana. Two pistols of .32 bore and 10 cartridges have been recovered from him. Yasu is a resident of Bathinda and the police was looking for him for the last three months. The Patiala police have already arrested the two accused of firing on Bindru, resident of Dhurkot Ransinh (Moga), Sandeep Singh Seepa (Siwana-Patiala) and Beant Singh (Moga).
3 pistols and 10 cartridges were recovered from both of them. The SSP said Yasu is a new "player" with no criminal record found.
