
Dairy Development Department conducted milk producer awareness seminar at Kakrala Bhaika
Patiala, January 13 - Dairy Development Department Patiala organized a milk producer awareness seminar at village Kakrala Bhaika Block Samana under National Live Stock Mission. In which about 250 milk producers participated. Charanjit Singh, Deputy Director Dairy Development, Patiala presiding over this seminar gave detailed information about various 2 week and 4 week trainings being conducted by the dairy department, DD-8 scheme, importance of cattle shed, planning of commercial dairy farming.

Dr. Parminder Kumar Veterinary Officer gave information about prevention of animal diseases, timely vaccination, animal care. Yashpal Dairy Development Inspector shared the success points of dairy farming, importance of animal feed and mineral mixture. Dr. Suman Verka Dairy and Dr. Tarsem Sharma Bani Milk gave information about the structure of cooperative structure, production of more milk at low cost, improvement of animal breed. Shri Kulwinder Singh Dairy Development Inspector informed about the subsidy running on feed and fodder activity silage baler, fodder harvester, tractor, trolley, chaff cutter, shed, total mix ration machines under National Live Stock Mission. In this seminar, the milk producers who are doing good dairy farming were also honored by giving departmental momento.
Rahul Kumar, Sukhwinder Singh, Sohan, Gurwinder Singh, Balwant Singh participated in this seminar. Finally, 2-2 kg packets of mineral mixture were distributed free of cost to the milk producers by the department.
