Garhshankar - AAP MLA from Garhshankar Constituency and Deputy Speaker of Vidhan Sabha S. Jai Krishan Singh Rowdy, on the auspicious occasion of his 41st birthday, after planting a mango tree at Maheshwar, the historic place of Garhshankar, said that every man should have a fruit on his birthday. He gave advice to his friends on this occasion and said that if every person plants a tree on his birthday, around 3.5 crore trees will be planted in Punjab in a year. With which the environment of Punjab will not only be clean and green but also increase in the decreasing percentage of rains every year. He said that Garhshankar's team along with his colleagues have been celebrating the birthdays of their friends by planting trees for a long time. Which is becoming a source of inspiration for new directions for children, youth and the elderly.
