Cleanliness Champion Program conducted at Civil Lines School

Patiala, November 20 - Today on the occasion of "World Toilet Day" Harpic India in association with Municipal Corporation Patiala organized "Swachhata Champion" program at Civil Lines Senior Secondary School. In this program, encouragement was given by honoring the sanitation workers who are doing good work in different parts of the city.

Patiala, November 20 - Today on the occasion of "World Toilet Day" Harpic India in association with Municipal Corporation Patiala organized "Swachhata Champion" program at Civil Lines Senior Secondary School. In this program, encouragement was given by honoring the sanitation workers who are doing good work in different parts of the city. Mr. Rashid Ansari, the chief coordinator of Harpic India, where capacity building training was given to the cleaners, he also informed them about new technologies. Jagtar Singh, Sanitary Inspector congratulated all the sanitation workers for their excellent contribution in cleanliness.
It was told by Mr. Jawala Singh (Community Facilitator) and Mr. Mandeep Singh (Community Facilitator) that the cleaners have an important contribution in the overall development of the city because without cleanliness the smooth functioning of a city is not possible. On this occasion, Amandeep Sekhon (IEC Expert) said that it is the duty of every citizen to keep every country clean and therefore it is very important to divide the household waste into two parts (wet and dry). The list of honorees included Charanjit Singh, Sanju Kumari, Menu Panman, Kulwinder Singh, Gurtej Singh, Jasveer Singh, Rabinder Singh, Maninder Singh and Jarnail Singh.
Mandeep Singh administered an oath to all the people present in the program to maintain cleanliness.
