The last rites of Meena Bedi, daughter-in-law of DAV College for Girls Garshankar president VP Bedi, were performed today at the Garshankar burial ground in the presence of a large number of teary-eyed people. The ritual of lighting the pyre was jointly performed by her only daughter and husband Varun Bedi. On this occasion, eminent personalities from across the region, leaders of various political, social and religious organizations attended. The family informed on this occasion that the path of Sri Garuda Puran and the turban ritual will be performed on November 22 at ISKCON Temple, Sector 36, Chandigarh from 2 pm to 3 pm.
