A tax revenue of Rs 10.22 lakh was collected during the verification of bills under the 'Bring Bill, Get Reward' scheme.

Nawanshahr - During the verification of the bills uploaded by the general public on Mera Bill App under the Bring Bill, Inam Pao scheme launched by the Tax Department Punjab with the aim of encouraging people to get bills after purchasing goods, the office of the Assistant Commissioner State Tax, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar collected Rs.10.22 lakh as tax revenue tax/penalty.

Nawanshahr - During the verification of the bills uploaded by the general public on Mera Bill App under the Bring Bill, Inam Pao scheme launched by the Tax Department Punjab with the aim of encouraging people to get bills after purchasing goods, the office of the Assistant Commissioner State Tax, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar collected Rs.10.22 lakh as tax revenue tax/penalty.
  In this regard, Assistant Commissioner of State Tax, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Narinder Kaur, while giving information, said that 'Bring the bill, get the prize scheme is being told to the general public through continuous propaganda. That they should take the bill from the shopkeeper on the purchase of goods and upload it on the 'Mera Bill' app, the winner will be declared by the tax department every month from these uploaded bills. Those who will be rewarded with five times the amount of the uploaded bill or a maximum of ten thousand rupees.
Therefore, people should take maximum advantage of this scheme and cooperate with the tax department so that the tax revenue of the government can be increased.
