Una, January 10 - District level Republic Day celebrations will be celebrated with great enthusiasm at Government Senior Secondary School (Block), Una. A meeting was organized with all the officers of the district under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma for necessary arrangements to be made for the successful organization of the function. Deputy Commissioner said that Agriculture Minister Chandra Kumar will be the chief guest at the district level Republic Day function.
Raghav Sharma told that before attending the ceremony on January 26, Agriculture Minister Chandra Kumar will reach the Martyrs Memorial at 10.40 am and pay homage to the martyrs, after which he will hoist the flag at the venue of the ceremony at 10.55 minutes and inspect the parade. After this, the march past salute will be taken.
He said that Himachal Pradesh Police, Home Guard and contingents of NCC and NSS will participate in the parade of the district level Republic Day celebrations. Cultural programs will also be presented by school children, police department and language department and other departments.
On this occasion, people doing excellent work in various fields will also be honored. In the function, developmental tableaux of various departments showing the overall development of the district will also be taken out in which tableaux of Health, DRDA, Agriculture, Horticulture, Women and Child Development Department and Language Department will be a part of the function.
ADC Mahendra Pal Gurjar, AC Varinder Sharma, ASP Sanjeev Bhatia and officers and employees of other departments were present in the meeting.
