Una, January 10: District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Una Raghav Sharma has informed that as per the Panchayati Raj Election Act 1994, voter lists have been prepared, which will be sent to the offices of Gram Panchayats/Panchayat Committees and Zilla Parishad for inspection from January 11 Has been given.

He said that if there is any claim for inclusion of name in the electoral roll or any objection regarding inclusion of any name or any objection on the entry, then it can be submitted to the Revision Officer in Format-2, 3 and 4 by January 17. 

DC said that every such claim or objection should reach the office of the concerned reviewing authority i.e. the concerned Block Development Officer by the prescribed date in person or through an agent or by registered post. He has told that if any voter is dissatisfied with the decision of the revision authority, he can submit an appeal before the appellate authority i.e. Deputy Commissioner Una within five days.
