Chandigarh, January 9 - During a meeting held by the District Council of Communist Party of India Chandigarh under the chairmanship of SS Kaliraman at Ajay Bhavan expressing deep sorrow over the eternal demise of Puran Singh Narangwal, Tarsem Lal Salgotra, Sevi Rait and Tarlochan Singh Gill. Two minutes of silence was observed.

During the meeting, District Secretary Raj Kumar asked to submit constructive suggestions to strengthen the party. During the discussion Devi Dayal Sharma, Karam Singh Vakil, Satyavir, Pritam Singh Hundal, Ranveer Kumar, Jagan Pal, Sevak Singh, Dilbagh Singh, Shingara Singh, Pralad Singh, Joginder Sharma, Kehar Singh, Surinder Singh and
  SS Kaliramana emphasized on struggling for people's interests, to succeed in every struggle planned by the national and state party and to take effective measures to strengthen the party organizationally.
