The eyes donated by Paramjit Kaur's family will provide light to two blind people

Hoshiarpur - The eyes of late Paramjit Kaur, wife of Sardar Harwinder Singh Hoshiarpur, have been donated through Eye Donation Association, Hoshiarpur, following her death, fulfilling the wishes of the deceased. Under the leadership of Mr. Manmohan Singh, Team President of Eye Donation Institute, Hoshiarpur, the team of ophthalmologists of Thind Eye Hospital Hoshiarpur reached the house of the deceased and completed the process of eye donation.

Hoshiarpur - The eyes of late Paramjit Kaur, wife of Sardar Harwinder Singh Hoshiarpur, have been donated through Eye Donation Association, Hoshiarpur, following her death, fulfilling the wishes of the deceased. Under the leadership of Mr. Manmohan Singh, Team President of Eye Donation Institute, Hoshiarpur, the team of ophthalmologists of Thind Eye Hospital Hoshiarpur reached the house of the deceased and completed the process of eye donation.
On this occasion, Prof. Bahadur Singh Sunet, patron of the institution, said that these donated eyes will continue to be seen even after they leave the world. And will continue to light up two dark lives. Dr Gurbakhsh Singh, senior vice president of the organization, informed that after the death of the animal, the eyes are the only organ which remains alive for 6 to 8 hours. But due to ignorance, we offer the living thing to the fire along with the mortal. On this occasion, the secretary of the organization, Mr. Baljit Singh, thanked the family for the good work done and said that only because of such a great donor, this organization has been able to provide light to thousands of blind people. On this occasion, Mr. Suresh Kapatia, a member of eye donation organization, said that Hoshiarpur city has got the status of city of donors. And the world will always remember the donors dedicated to the service of humanity. On this occasion, Mrs. Santosh Saini, a member of the organization, was also present.
