
Four Weeks Dairy Enterprise Training Course for Dairy Farmers from 15
Patiala, January 3 - Under the dynamic leadership of Director Dairy Development Department Punjab Kuldeep Singh and due to the efforts of Deputy Director Dairy Development Charanjit Singh Bansal, continuous efforts are being made to promote the dairy industry in the district. Under this, a separate 4-week dairy enterprise training course for dairy occupation is being started for dairy farmers.

Under this, a separate 4-week dairy enterprise training course for dairy occupation is being started for dairy farmers.
During this training course important things to be considered before starting dairy farming, breeds of dairy cattle, breeding for breed improvement, artificial insemination, planning of year round green fodder production, common cattle diseases, milk fat/SNF, Detailed information is given about preparation of milk products from milk, preparation of cattle manure, preparation and use of balanced cattle feed, production of clean milk, economics of dairy farming.
Giving information about this course, Deputy Director Charanjit Singh Bansal said that a four-week dairy entrepreneurship training course is being started by the Punjab Dairy Development Board from 15 January 2024 at Dairy Training and Extension Service Centre, Bija (Ludhiana) and Sangrur. The fee for which is 5 thousand rupees for general category and 4 thousand rupees for scheduled caste. Counseling of the candidates for the training course is scheduled to be held on January 9 at 9:30 am at Dairy Training and Extension Service Centre, Bija (District Ludhiana), Sangrur. The minimum qualification for training is 10th pass and candidate should belong to rural area. Training age for trainees is 18 to 55 years and beneficiary should have 5 or more milch animals.
