On this occasion, President of Welfare Association Jagdish Singh and Kulwinder Singh said that in order to bring Phase 11 from primary school to senior secondary school, under the leadership of late S. Amrik Sigh Tehsildar, a prominent social worker and councilor of the area, this school was built with the hard work and efforts of the city residents. A new building has been constructed.

On this occasion, Amarjit Singh, President of Sardar Amrik Singh Tehsildar Foundation, Ranjit Singh Dhillon said that currently 1280 children are studying in the school and the school is running in two shifts. The first shift starts at 7:15 and the second shift ends at 5:15. He said that due to the school being in two shifts, 2 hours 45 minutes of children's education is being lost due to the reduction of period time every day.

Arvindarpal Singh, Hakam Singh, Harpal Singh said that due to two shifts, children have to go to dark houses early in the morning and in the evening. The delegation demanded that the school be shifted to a newly constructed building as soon as possible so that the children can study, play in an open environment and avoid the loss of learning due to shorter period time every day. Apart from others, the delegation included Raghveer Singh Sidhu, Karnail Singh, Baljit Singh Khokhar, Ranjit Singh Saini, Juginder Singh, Jasjit Singh, Satnam Singh, Karnail Singh, VK Mahajan.

When contacted in this regard, Constituency MLA S. Kulwant Singh said that the new building constructed in Phase 11 has been given the status of School of Eminence by the Punjab Government and the 9th and 11th classes will be taught there. They said that on being told by the residents' delegation, they have asked the District Education Officer to resolve this issue without consulting the District Education Officer and in this regard they will soon meet the Education Minister and resolve this issue.
