Patiala, December 6 - District Social Security Officer Varinder Singh Bains said that assessment camps are being held from December 11 to 15 to provide artificial limbs and other equipment to disabled persons of Patiala district under the ADIP scheme.
He said that the assessment camp will be held at sub division Samana on December 11 from 10 am to 2 pm. Similarly, on December 12 at Nabha, on December 13 at Patar, the camp of Rajpura and Ghanour will be held on December 14 at Rajpura, and the camp of Patiala, Bhunarheri and Sanur areas will be held on December 15 at Patiala.
He said that under the ADIP scheme, these assessment camps are being organized by Alimco to provide artificial limbs, wheel chairs, hearing machines, sticks for the blind etc. to disabled persons in the future. He said that it is necessary to bring the needy disabled people with their Aadhaar card in these camps.
