Sakshi Sahni instructed the officials of the Water Supply and Sewerage Board who are supervising this work and said that people should not face any kind of problem during the winter season, so the roads of the places where the water pipes have been laid should be made passable by vehicles.
The executive engineer of water supply said that under this project, about 150 km of pipeline has been laid and the road repair work is also going on. On which the Deputy Commissioner instructed to speed up this work and said that the roads which are yet to be repaired should be repaired on priority basis so that people do not face any problem.
Sakshi Sahni said that the Punjab government is committed to timely completion of the water supply scheme based on canal water of Patiala city, so the work of laying new lines for water supply including construction of water tanks including underground service water storage. should be completed on time.
