Hoshiarpur / Garhshankar - According to the instructions of the Commissioner Gurdwara Elections, Punjab, as per rules 6 to 12 of the Sikh Gurdwara Board Election Rules, 1959, the electoral roll preparation program for Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee elections has started from October 21, 2023, under which 15 Claims and objections will be received till November 2023. Giving this information, Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that according to the instructions of Commissioner Gurdwara Elections, Punjab, any one of the 12 types of documents with form 3(1) (including self-declaration) for identification and one self-attested fresh color. Photo is required.
Official identification documents approved by Commissioner Gurudwara Elections include Aadhaar Card, Voter Photo Identity Card issued by Election Commission of India, Indian Passport, Driving License, Photo ID issued to employees by Central/State Government/PSU/Public Limited. Service Identity Card, Bank/Post Office Issued Photo Passbooks, PAN Card, Includes smart card issued by R, MNREGA job card, health insurance smart card issued under the scheme of Ministry of Labour, government pension document with photo, official identity card issued to MPs/MLAs/MLCs. He said that Binekar's age is 21.10. Must be 21 years or older as of 2023. He has asked the Revising Authority Officers (SDMs) appointed in this regard in the district to ensure compliance with these instructions of the Gurdwara Election Commissioner. He has appealed to the people who want to become voters to submit their forms along with the said identity cards by November 15.
