Garhshankar, October 14-recently Moni Jindal, son of Sanjeev Kumar pipliwal, won the gold medal playing in the state level volleyball competition (14 years old) at the Watan Punjab games, bringing joy to the entire village.  Moni pipliwal is the first child from the village to go to the state level volleyball competition. When the people of the village living abroad came to know about this, everyone planned to increase their courage and under this, Kulwinder Kisan Australia sent a prize money of 11000 for Moni and along with the mohatbar personalities of the village in which Mr. Sanjeev Kumar ji gave a volleyball, Mr. Kamal bhumbala ji a volleyball and Rajesh Kumar Panch a volleyball. Moni and Lakshya were awarded one tracksuit and boot each by the gram panchayat for playing
Shri Joginder Lal Panch Shri Sher Singh Jindal, Sanjeev Kumar Sanju, Harmesh Lal, Amandeep, Prince, Manoj Kumar, Samaj Sevi Sanjay Kumar and entire volleyball team were present on the occasion.
