On Saturday, the annual general meeting of the Punjab Unity Forum was held at Punjab Bhawan in Sector 15, Panchkula, under the chairmanship of its president, Ravinder Rawal. The executive committee members present at the meeting included senior vice-president OP Taneta, general secretary Kailash Sardana, treasurer Subhash Batra, secretary VK Sarin, and executive members BD Juneja, DK Katyal, TK Chawla, and Naresh Rawal. In addition to these members, several prominent individuals from the city's Punjabi community, who are also members of the Punjab Unity Forum, were in attendance. These included Munshi Ram Aroda, Subhash Papneja, Kuldeep Chitkara, Shadi Lal Kapoor, BR Berry, Vishal Seth, Jaydeep Kapoor, Yograj Mujhal, Arun Grover, Som Nath Chugh, and Satish Dhawan Suryavanshi, among others. A large number of Punjab Unity Forum members paid their respects to those members of the committee who had passed away with a two-minute silence observed during the meeting. In the meeting, Kailash Sardana presented the annual report. Following this, the financial secretary presented the accounts for the past three years in the meeting. Subsequently, OP Taneta appealed to the present members to contribute a substantial amount for the construction of the building. Vishal Seth addressed the gathering, emphasizing the need to strengthen the community through awareness and unity. Jaideep Kapoor and Baldev Raj Berry also delivered speeches. At the end of the meeting, the president, Ravinder Rawal, thanked the members for attending the meeting and unanimously passed all the proposals, including those presented earlier and those brought up during today's conference. Ravinder Rawal concluded the meeting by expressing gratitude to the members for their presence and for unanimously passing all the proposals.
