Sant Ishar Singh Public School Phase-7 organized a special prayer meeting today to sensitize the students about World Tourism Day.

Principal of the school Indrajchit Kaur Sandhu said that on this occasion, the students told through speeches and slogans that every year on September 27, World Tourism Day is celebrated. He said that traveling is an important part of our life and it gives us an opportunity to understand the culture, art, tradition, literature of that place.

He said that this year's theme is to promote 'Tourism and Greenery'. Meanwhile, students presented the importance of various places and natural beauty by slogan poster making.

School Director Mrs. Pawandeep Kaur Gill said that tourism provides an opportunity for countries to connect with each other.
