Mandi Gobindgarh, August 17- Desh Bhagat Global School celebrated India's 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. School Principal Mrs. Indu Sharma gave an inspiring speech In which everyone remembers the sacrifices of freedom fighters and the responsibilities performed as citizens of a free nation. On this occasion, the students presented an impressive cultural program which included dance. Children remembered freedom fighters and sang patriotic songs.
The Pre-Primary Wing participated in a thematic assembly on the theme of National Symbols and enjoyed tricolor food. They were dressed like freedom fighters. Meanwhile, the children of Desh Bhagat Global School participated in the sub-division level Independence Day celebrations held in Amloh. In this, they performed a wonderful performance of the vulture, which was highly appreciated by the audience. SDM Amloh Karandeep Singh honored the school principal Mrs. Indu Sharma and Giddha team including teachers for the good performance of the students of Desh Bhagat Global School.
School Chairman Dr. Zora Singh and General Secretary Dr. Tajinder Kaur congratulated the students and staff on Independence Day and appealed to all to strive to make their country a better place for future generations.
