The police have registered a case against her husband Pritpal Singh, father-in-law Bhan Singh, mother-in-law Kesro and nephew on the complaint of Gursevak Singh, a resident of Fatehgarh Sahib, the brother of the deceased woman Jashan Kaur.
Gursevak Singh told the police that his sister got married to Pritpal Singh in 2021. After the marriage, everything went well in the initial days, but after that, quarrels started to increase in the house. After a year of marriage, her husband and in-laws started taunting Jashan for not having a child. On opposing this, Pritpal Singh and his family used to beat Jashan.
Fed up with the beating, Jashan came to her parents' house, from where Pritpal Singh Panchayat Sanmukh took her back after resigning a few days ago. On July 21, Jashan's husband called Jashan's brother and told that his sister was vomiting and he was taking her to the hospital. Gursevak Singh said that Jashan Kaur had died when she reached the private hospital.
