Kapurthala (Paigam-E-Jagat) - Party leader and world famous poet Kanwar Iqbal Singh, District President "AAP" Vyapar Mandal Kapurthala, who has been serving the Aam Aadmi Party since 2013, has been given a big honor by the party a few months ago by including him as a senior member in the three-member committee of the Punjab government's institution "Punjab State Council for Science and Technology Department Chandigarh", while the state government has included poet Kanwar Iqbal Singh as a member in the 21-member committee of Urdu Academy Punjab!
According to the protocol, the Chief Minister of Punjab is the President of this Urdu Academy and "AAP" MLA from Malerkotla Dr. Jamil-ur-Din Rehman is the President of this institution. Under the leadership of these two personalities, it is being operated from the head office in Malerkotla. Programs are being organized from time to time in the state by this academy by calling a meeting of the 21-member committee of Punjab!
Seeing the capability of Kanwar Iqbal Singh, the party has appointed him as "Block Incharge Gurgaon (Delhi)" for the assembly elections to be held in Haryana in October or September 2024. It is worth mentioning that Mr. Kanwar Iqbal Singh ji, along with the team of Punjab and Delhi, will appoint block incharges, divisional incharges and booth incharges for the Haryana assembly elections to be held in 2024 in 33 villages falling under assembly number 80 of Gurgaon Lok Sabha constituency which is located in Delhi, and will submit the list to the party high command and will campaign in the interest of the party by becoming a star campaigner!
It is also worth mentioning here that from time to time the party has entrusted the responsibility of election campaign to Kanwar Iqbal Singh in the assembly constituencies of Sultanpur Lodhi Sahib and Jalandhar etc. apart from Kapurthala. So he has performed his duty very honestly! Kanwar Iqbal Singh, who has gained fame worldwide as a poet, was appointed as a member of the 5-member cultural committee of Punjab by the party chief in 2016! In the 2021 Municipal Council Kapurthala elections, the party had fielded Kanwar Iqbal Singh and his son Pushpinder Singh from two wards of the city! Kanwar Iqbal Singh, who has been working at the grassroots level in the party for the last 11 years, has been appointed as the Block Prabhar of Gurgaon, which has brought happiness among all the leaders and volunteers of the assembly constituency! It seems that the party high command is going to give different responsibilities to all those comrades who work day and night for the party!
