Una, July 22 - Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal on Monday participated in the tree plantation program of Yuva Mandal in Santoshgarh. Under the program, saplings were planted in the playground of Late Virendra Gautam Memorial Senior Secondary School of Municipal Council Santoshgarh. Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal also planted five saplings and appreciated the efforts of Yuva Mandal Santoshgarh for ensuring positive participation in environmental protection. He said that this work of the youth is inspiring for others.
Let us tell you, under the plantation program, Youth Mandal Santoshgarh has set a target of planting a total of one thousand saplings. The Deputy Commissioner praised the Youth Mandal for this.
The Deputy Commissioner said that in the present changing environment, tree plantation is very important so that the future of the coming generation is safe. He called upon all the people to come forward in large numbers for tree plantation. He said that we should plant as many trees as possible to keep the environment around us clean so that the coming generation can remain healthy and safe. Tree plantation is very important for protection from climate change and clean air.
On this occasion, Eco Friendly Club official Ashwani Saini placed demands before the Deputy Commissioner including repair of boundary wall of the playground, installation of lights in the new bus stand, etc. The Deputy Commissioner assured the youth of all possible help and solution to their problems.
