Nawanshahr - There are very interesting sites/locations for shooting/photo suits on canals, rivers, rest houses and other properties under Water Resources Department Punjab. Interest is being shown by various production houses/individuals to shoot/photoshoot at these various locations. Giving this information, Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa said that the Water Resources Department has issued a policy for the fixed fee regarding approval of shooting / photo shoot on its properties so that maximum revenue can be provided in the treasury of the government.
The Deputy Commissioner said that according to the policy, permission for shooting on the properties of the water resources department such as canals, rivers, rest houses, dams etc. will be issued by the water resources department itself. And shooting charges etc. will also be deposited in the respective offices of the Water Resources Department.
The Deputy Commission stated that the agency/individual seeking permission shall apply directly to the Executive Engineer/Headquarters cum Estate Officer and clearly state the purpose and dates for which permission is required. Apart from a declaration letter from the concerned agency/individual, identity proof will also be shared with the application. He said that the application for approval will be sent to the e-mail xeneowrdchd@gmail.com/ce.wrdhq.chd@punjab.gov.in.
The Deputy Commissioner said that security fee will have to be deposited along with the fixed fee for movie shooting, pre-weeding shooting, song shooting and photo shoot. The security fee will be refunded on completion of the shooting/ photo shoot.
