Hoshiarpur - Blood Donation Camp by Mobile Medical Unit Hoshiarpur at Sri Guru Ravidas Mandir, Salwara, Hoshiarpur dedicated to the 15th anniversary of 'The Hans Foundation' under the leadership of Reesh Mohan Kukreti (Project Manager MMU Punjab) and Shri Om Raj (Project Manager MMU Punjab). installed Project Manager HRCC in which 43 blood donors donated their blood.
Anurud Kumar, Project Coordinator of Mobile Medical Unit Hoshiarpur said that the units collected during this camp have been donated to the Hoshiarpur Civil Hospital team for thalassemia patients. Thalassemia is a disease in which the patient's blood count decreases and he needs frequent blood transfusions. He also said that the organization has been working in various fields of health, education, disability and livelihood for the past 15 years.
Shri Bahadur Singh Sidhu State Awardee who donated blood 65 times as special guest in the camp encouraged the blood donors to continue this great donation.
For organizing this camp, Social Security Officer Harjit Singh was assigned the responsibility of event manager and Social Security Officer Nisha was given the responsibility of media in-charge. During this camp, Dr. Preetika Sharma, Social Security Officer Nisha and Lab Technician Manpreet Kaur gave a good message to the society by donating blood and also started a new tradition in Hans Foundation.
Blood bank team of Civil Hospital in which Dr. Vaishali, Lab Technician Sandeep Singh and Dilawar Singh, Councilor Kamalpreet Kaur, Gurpreet and Karan were present. Harish Mohan Kukreti and Om Raj thanked the blood bank team of Civil Hospital, special guests and all the blood donors. He also honored all the blood donors by giving certificates, medals and saplings. He also thanked all the staff who worked tirelessly to make this camp a success.
