He was addressing the residents of Mohalla Shalimar Nagar of Ward No. 7 while inaugurating the tube well at a cost of Rs. 25 lakh. Meanwhile, Mayor Surinder Kumar, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr. Amandeep Kaur were also present. The Cabinet Minister thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and said that the highest number of tubewells in the state have been installed in Hoshiarpur Assembly Constituency. He said that no shortage is being left to provide clean water to the residents of Hoshiarpur and drinking water tube wells are being installed there as per the demand of the ward. Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that this tubewell has been installed by the Public Health Department in collaboration with the Municipal Corporation. He assured the residents of the area that every problem of the area will be solved on priority basis. He appealed to the residents of the city and said that water should be used wisely and it should not be wasted. Meanwhile, he also planted saplings and inspired the residents of the Mohalla to plant more saplings in this season. Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini, Deputy Mayor Ranjit Chaudhary, Joint Secretary Sandeep Tiwari, Axion Harpreet Singh, Sumesh Saini, Mohalla Committee President Captain Darshan Singh and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
