Hoshiarpur - Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr. Amandeep Kaur informed that the collection of property tax, water supply and sewage bills has started at the Municipal Corporation Hoshiarpur office. Counters have been set up at the Municipal Corporation office for this purpose, where people can come and pay their property tax with a 10 percent rebate for the current year and water and sewerage bills on working days. He said that on Saturday, July 13, 2024, the counters of property tax and water and sewerage were kept open, from which 24000 rupees of property tax was collected and 27500 rupees of water and sewage were collected. On this, he thanked the city residents and appealed to them to make maximum use of the counters that have been opened by the Municipal Corporation for payment of property tax and water and sewerage on Saturdays as well. He said that on July 20 and July 27, 2024, the property tax and water and sewage cash counters will be open, where people can deposit their tax from 10 am to 3 pm. City residents who have not paid their due property tax and water and sewerage bills should pay their due tax and water and sewerage bills as soon as possible. If payment is not made, notices are being issued to them under the section of PMC Act 1976 and appropriate action will be taken as per law.
