Una, July 16 - A 6-day training workshop was inaugurated under the aegis of District Disaster Management in Barnoh Gram Panchayat of Development Block Una. Giving this information, BDO Una KL Verma said that this training program will continue till July 20. He said that during the six-day training workshop, six participants per Gram Panchayat from the Gram Panchayats of Lamlaihadi, Samur Kalan, Kotla Kalan Upper, Dangoli and Ajnauli of Development Block Una will receive technical training in which mason, bar binder and carpenter have been included.
KL Verma said that the main objective of the workshop is to carry out the development work being done in the Gram Panchayats with full efficiency so that it can help in accelerating the development work. He said that till now these five Panchayats have been identified in the first phase and in future this training will be made available in all other Panchayats of Development Block Una through departmental workshop. The training is being provided completely free of cost.
On this occasion, workshop nodal officer Prashant Sharma, Pooja, Shivani, Ajay Kumar Panchayat Secretary and others were present.
